  1. K McCormack 1st- Sony and panasonic say they will release 3-D-tv's in 2010. Mitshubishi and JVC are also working on similar products.

Some set backs are the amount of data used to broadcast in 3-D, and 3-D glases give some people headaches.

I also think 3-D telivision is not a good idea because some people have to have the TV on when they go to bed and no one is going to want to fall asleep with obnoxtious 3-D glasses on.

I believe that some people will buy and like 3-D TV's, however I don't think they will be a big product on the market...or at least any time soon!

This technology is expected to jump out of theaters and into living rooms sometime in the next year. they say that the T-V's require twice the data, and will gobble up an unworkable amount of television bandwidth. Also the glasses give some a headache. a couple disadvantages i can think of could be that you have to constantly wear those glasses instead of just sitting down right away and relaxing. And, some people just don't like watching 3-D and just prefer to see t-v in 2-D. I think that many will get and enjoy this new technology but I'm sure there will be plenty of people that just completely ignore this new technology.

Sony and Panasonic say that they are expecting to release Home 3-D TV systems in 2010. Some setbacks are that the Television will require about twice the data, will gobble up an unworkable amount of TV bandwidth. They are also worried that it would be a rough transition into American homes. Some problems would be that the 3-D glasses can give people headaches/migraines, and the glasses would rip. Some people already where glasses and they wont be able to watch 3-D television. I think that some people would buy it because they want to make their home look even more fancy, and that some people would enjoy 3-D TV. Some people wouldn't like to because they would just like to come home and relax and have something sitting on their faces like glasses.

This 3-D excitment will be sorring into homes and theaters in the year 2010! Sadly there are some setbacks, these 3-D televisions will require twice the data! Thats not all some worry that 3-D glasses and graphics wont make a smooth trasition to Amarican living rooms and theaters. I think that some problems could be prices, I understand that they say prices will stay low but I have a feeling prices will sky rocket! I do think that some people will grasp on to this new idea, but i can only see people getting it if they are commited and are huge sport or movie lover. Otherwise i see this invention of a new technology not being a HUGE deal!!

  5. B. Moore 1st-Sony and Parasonic say they will release the new 3-D TVs in both living rooms and theaters in 2010. As everyone knows that every technology has its setbacks.

One setback is that it requires twice the data, that will gobble up an unworkable amount of television bandwidth. Also some worry that 3-D glasses and graphics wont make smooth transitions to living rooms.

I don't think 3-D televisions are a good idea because some people after a long day want to relax and not doing anything but watch TV. Also I don't think that a lot of people would want to wear the 3-D glasses. Every time you get up you take the glasses off and then when you come back you have to put them back on. One more thing i think that the 3-D TV is only good for sports and movies but not reality TV and the news.

I think that the 3-D TV will impress sports fans and big movie fans but not for people who like reality TV but everyone wouldn't just pass by it.

  6. I think that 3-D telivision is a great idea, but people probably won't buy them because the costs will probably be pricy.

It will probably find itself into homes and theaters by 2015. The thing is some people really don't like 3-D movies. Plus you would have to put on those 3-D glasses most likely. And it would be annoying. Some people like watching 2-D rather than 3-D. Yes, because there are many many great things. I mean the idea that it looks like it's right in your home is great, but there are many setbacks.

I think it's a good idea, it would be fun to have your own 3D TV. But I don't think a lot of people will buy special glass just to watch TV. I know I won't. So at first it sounds like a good idea, but in the long run I think it will fail.

I think that by 2019 these tvs will find themselves into homes. Vision could be a problem considering you would probably have to wear 3-D glasses the whole time. I think consumers will grasp thisbecause it is a good idea.

3-d shows and movie are expected to come out within the next year or so. Some people think that 3-d images require too much data. Some setbacks would be that they would have to make new cameras to made the image 3-d and the money to buy and make the cameras. I think that consumes will want to grasp this technology because people always want the next new thing and people will be "wow-ed" by it.

I think that it will start showing up within the next two years. Tv's will need two times the data. It might pollute the environment. Some will some won't. It depends on what they feel. I think I would want one, it sounds kind of cool.

Sony and Panasonic are going to be able to come out with 3D television in the year 2010. Some setbacks with the new invention are it may not be effective to all t.v programs and it takes a large amount of data used to broadcast in 3D. To some people, 3D gives certain people headaches depending on their brain and their body. I don't think that a lot of people are going to like the new invention because i think its going to be to much of a hasle and people are just going to stick with there normal t.v that they have now.

    ReplyDelete
  13. SzydlowskiD 1 hour- Apparently they say that it will be out by 2010. But I don;t think that it will I think we still don't anyone has the money to afford these televisions, being in this ression and all. They also say that they are having problems with it taking up most of the broad band.

  14. Zavodny, K 1st- Sony and Panasonic say that they are going to be coming out with 3-D television, in the next year or so. Mitshubishi and JVC are also working on something very similar. Some of the setbacks that i think will come from this will be that a lot of people won't like it. Especially because a lot of people get headaches from the glasses. Then again a lot of people might like the idea of having a 3-D television. I don't really think that a lot of people will be buying the 3-D television when it first comes out, especially since you have to buy a brand new t.v. And lots of people don't have the money to be going out and buying brand new t.v.'s.

The 3-D tv's should be coming out in 2010.
Some set backs of this are it requires twice the data and use up an unworkable amount of TV bandwidth. Some disadvantages of this product are some people aren't ready for this type of TV for in their homes, and some glasses give people headaches. Most people might want to buy this because to watch movies in 3-D would be cool with characters jumping out at you, but for some people to be wearing those glasses all the time just to watch a few shows isn't really worth it. Most people would just prefer to sit and relax while watching TV not continuously wearing glasses. I'm sure some people will jump all over this new technology because it's the new thing and it's cool, but most people will just save 3-D for the theaters.

It might find itself in home and theater around 2010, as said in the article. THe setbacks are that alot of people will get it and then, i think they'll get bored with it. I think that this is kind of stupid idea, its fun to go to the theater and go see a 3D movie, but i'd rather have my shows not in 3D.

  17. The new technology should be in homes and theaters by next year. some of the disadvantages in this product are the glasses that must me worn to make the 3-D affect happen, they are giving people headaches. This problem might stop people from purchasing the product. Other issues might be the price of the t.v. People in this day and age cant afford expensive t.v's just for the satisfaction of living. Also you have the glasses that you must wear to even make the graphics work. What happens when they break, you just have to keep going out and buying new ones. The only people who are actually going to buy the product are people who can afford it, not so much the people who want it. As the get in stoke and the price starts going down, more people might buy them, or just stay with the normal HDTV they have.

The 3D TV's are supposed to come out in the year of 2010. There are many setbacks and problems with this new piece of technology. One problem is the fact that the glasses give people headaches. Another problem is the bandwidth, people assume it will take up too much. One drawback that is NOT mentioned in the atricle mentioned is the cost. These new TV's will probably cost more then expected and we JUST got out of a recession and poeple are just now started to regain some of the money lost. I don't think these people are going to waste their newly gained money on a 3D TV. I think costomers will definantly want to try these new TV's but I don't think that they will want one for a lifetime. I think thy will soon get bored with it and wearing the silly glasses and go back to their old TV's.

3-D TV's might make it a consumable product some time in 2010.

One set back is the ability to keep getting updates on everything required for the television. I think the 3-D television can also be very expensive.

Yes I believe consumers would love this product. There is always going to be people that will love it and also have people not like it at all. People will like this product because it will give you a look on how real things can be, it will make sports and action movies more realistic.

This tech. could be in homes in 1 to a couple of years. That it can bother some peoples eyes, that it take twice te amount of data, also you can lose them. That it could be really expensive. Yes becaise it is the new technology and you don't have to go to the movie theater to see a movie in 3-D anymore.

I think they will be in homes and in theaters in the next couple years because who wouldn't want to see a football game or one of their favorite shows in 3-D. Some of the set backs in the article are the amount of the data used to make the tvs and the glasses to go with it. I think a problem not listed in the article is wearing the glasses all the time. I wouldn't want to be constantly wearing 3-D glasses while I am trying to watch t.v. I think some people will want to get the new t.v. because they would like to watch favorite shows in 3-D but other people probably wouldn't want to get the t.v. because the glasses give you a headache if you wear them long enough.

Sometime in the next few years, Sony and Panasonic will be adding in 3-D TVs.

Some setbacks are huge amounts of data used.

The Technology might might end up frying systems left and right.

Customers will want to buy it at first, then when issues start popping up, fewer and fewer will buy the TV sets and thesets that are already bought will be collecting dust in attics.

You can expect to see this technology in theaters and homes sometime in 2010. Some setbacks are that it will require twice the data, use up a unworkable amount of bandwidth, and having to transition to using 3-d glasses could become a problem. Some of the setbacks I would also think of are just buying a new t.v. and what about space? I mean its a cool idea especially for scary movies but not every consumer would want to have to wear uncomfortable 3-d glasses when the are trying to watch there favorite show. Also i wouldn't really want to watch 3-d t.v. all the time and it could cause some unexpected problems like making shows 3-d but I guess we will have to just see when it comes out in 2010!

I think this technology could be really cool, but like it said it could give people headache's and people may not want to keep watch for classes just to watch t.v, id rather just be able to sit down turn on the t.v and watch not having to make sure i have classes and they stay on. but then again it would be really cool so see alot of sports and t.v shows in action!

~Sony and Panasonic say that they will release 3-D technology sometime in 2010. Some companies, such as Mitsubishi and JVC, aren't quite sure when their 3-D technology will be available.
~Some setbacks to 3-D TV are: expensive equipment, irritating glasses that cause headaches to some, and the possibility that some networks won't broadcast in 3-D.
~Some other problems that many Americans would face would be loosing the special glasses or the possibility that the glasses could easily get broken if around children. Also, people that wear regular glasses may not want to deal with the hassle of 3-D glasses.
~I think that some people will embrace this new technology, while others will wait until it is more common and/or when 3-D glasses are not necessary.

Both Sony and Panasonic say that they will release the product in 12010. Also other brands have reported working on similar products. Some people have said that it requires twice the data, and will gobble up an unworkable amount of television bandwidth. Some also have reported to get a head ache from the 3-D glasses. Some other setbacks i can think of are the 3-D glasses themselves. Nobody is going to always want to wear the glasses all the time when they are watching T.V. I think that people will end up buying the product, and as the companies keep working on the product it will improve more and more. And eventually become more popular.

sony said that they will be releasing 3D-T.V in 2010. Set backs of the new product is it give some people really bad migraines. Or the glasses will break and you you'll have to buy another one. I think that some people will not choose to wear the glasses because they are annoying. I don't think they will grasp the technology because the glasses are uncomfortable.

  28. Kyle Samples 5th I think that watching sports games, and other cool shows in 3D would be very exciting. I think it would get annoying having to wear glasses to watch t.v. i think you should be able to have the option of having it in 3D and in regular so you don't have to wear glasses while you watch t.v. all the time. When this does come out i think it would be a big hit they would sell quite fast i think. they will be a big seller . It will make its way into many homes in 2010-2011.

Sony and Panasonic are planning to sell the 3-D home systems in 2010. Even though this seems like a great product there are some problems listed in the article. First, the 3-D broadcast will take up twice the data. Another set back of the 3-D televisions is the graphics might not look as good in American homes. Lastly, the 3-D glasses cause headaches. A problem I think could happen with the 3-D TVs is if you loose your glasses than you can not view it in 3-D. Another problem I think could happen is if you have people over, you may not have enough glasses for everyone. Even thought there are set backs I think people will buy this product because it is something new, just the sound of 3-D TV sounds appealing to me, but I think that people who look more into the product will not purchase it.

  30. R.Schwarz 5th hour The 3-D T.V. will find itself in homes in 2010.3-D movies are already out. Monsters v.s. Aliens is an example of a movie already out in 3-D. Some setbacks are the graphics might not be as good. Also it might not be ready for primetime viewing. Some setbacks that are not in this article is that people might not want 3-d T.V. I really don't want 3-D T.V. I think some people will want 3-D T.V. but personally i wouldn't want it.

3D TV's around suppose to come to homes and theaters in the year 2010. Many people are excited for this next step in technology yet some of the setbacks in 3D TV's are it will require twice the amount of data and use up an extensive amount of TV bandwidth. Another setback may be people could get a headache from looking through the glasses for to long. Honestly, I personally think customers all over the world will buy this product just to have it. If there was some way you wouldn't have to use the 3D notion all the time and just when watching certain movies. Over this next year, we will just have to see how technology changes and see if they make improvements to there ideas of 3D TV.

Sony and Panasonic said that they will be expecting to release in 2010. the setbacks would be TV will need 2 times the amount of data and it will use an amazing amount of TV bandwidth. The 3-D glasses need to be plastic and not paper. No because most people like to watch regular TV and not 3-D people get 3-D movies for that reason.3-D TV would be a waste or time and good money.

Sony and Panasonic say they will release home 3-D television systems in 2010. Setbacks include a ridiculous amount of TV bandwidth needed for the immense amount of data you would need to project the 3-D picture. Side effects include headaches which would bring down the sale of these TV's. I do not understand why you would buy a 3-D TV. I think 3-D television is ridiculous. It ruined my sight when i was little and now i see blue in one eye and red in the other. This happens when you look at a 3-D screen with the glasses for an extended amount of time. I had no clue this would happen and i was so little it didn't even occur to me. So i think if families with children buy these TV's this could happen to them too. I can definitely see some crazy people trying to sue SONY and Panasonic for minor problems like these. My opinion is don't bother buying them.

3-D tvs are plannning to be released in 2010. A set back might be that they will take up twice the data than normal tvs, and some tvs wont get a smooth transition. A problem is that some people absolutly hate 3-d glasses it gives them headaches and irritates them. I am sure people will buy this product anyway. Some people might actually buy it just to have it (rich people ha) and show off. others might buy it cause they enjoy 3-D vision. So ya i think a mojority of people will buy this product but i also think many wont because it might be too expensive.

I don't think that the 3-D TV will be successful. I think people are going to stick with HD TV's. U re going to have to wear glasses which is a huge setback, and they haven't approved sporting events yet. I think that the TV's will be much bigger. I don;t think costumers will buy this product because no one is going to want to wear glasses to watch TV.

Another setback mentioned was the glasses could give some people headaches. Panasonic and Sony say that they are expecting to release Home 3-D TV systems in 2010. Setbacks could include wearing the glasses and the fact that if you look away from the TV then you can see the lenses opening and closing witch could give some people a bad headache. I wear glasses when I watch TV so i don't think i could wear both at the same time. If the TVs systems are being released in 2010 and requires you to buy a new TV then they won't have to many sales because in 2009 we had to make a transition to HD so we just bought new TVs and most people won't feel like buying another new TV one year later. I think people will want it but not until they find a easier way then glasses because it sounds like a huge pain and the glasses could get stepped on or sat on and then you would have to get new ones, sounds annoying, so my answer is no, I don't think it will be to popular.

Sony and Panasonic are expecting to release the 3-D TV sometime in 2010. Some of the setbacks mentioned in the article would be: if you glance to the side you can see the lenses open and close and is irritating to most people. They also feel that it will make a smooth transition into the American living room. I think some problems or setbacks, to this technology, not mentioned in the article would probably be the TV becoming too pricey for anyone to afford it because of the, possibly, high demand. I believe consumers will want to grasp this technology because what better way to watch a football or soccer game than to have the players and plays in the safety of your own living room! Other people wouldn't bother grasping this technology because they wouldn't want to "inconveniently" place the glasses required to actually watch the TV.
